Driving Greenbelt Park is located at 6565 Greenbelt Road in Greenbelt, Maryland; just twelve miles from Washington, D.C. Off I-95: - Take Exit 23 Route 201 Kenilworth Avenue South (toward Bladensburg) to Route 193 East Greenbelt Road (Greenbelt Road is an overpass over Route 201.)
- The park is a quarter mile on the right hand side of Greenbelt Road across from Fridays restaurant and Marriott Courtyard.
From Washington, DC: - Take (Route 295) Baltimore-Washington Parkway.
- Veer right onto Route 193 Greenbelt Road West.
- There is the Greenway shopping center on the left.
- The park is on the left hand side at the 3rd traffic light across from Fridays restaurant, Capitol Cadillac, and Marriott Courtyard.
Bicycling From Downtown: - Get to West Virginia Ave (head North) or Florida Avenue (head East).
- Stay on WV continue over NY.
- Go around circle and veer right on to Montana (see train bridge).
- Take 1st right on 18th street; follow to Rhode Island Ave Right on Rhode Island Ave.
- Go about 1 mile (come to Rainer Circle) veer right on Perry Follow Perry to 39th Right on 39th; go over small train bridge.
- Take immediate Left onto Cottage Terrace
- Go couple of blocks and take a right onto Bunker Hill.
- You will see a raised gravel/dirt path on your left Follow path to the ball field; take a left onto Branch Trail.
- Continue for about 3 miles, veer left into parking lot.
- Follow parking lot to exit on Paint Branch Pky; take a right.
- Continue for 1/4 and cross Kenilworth Ave; road becomes Good Luck Rd.
- Enjoy a nice climb to the top and look for the gate to the back of the park.
- Continue down this and it will dump you out at "The Turn".
Be sure to check in with the road guard so you do not blow past and end up in the middle of a race making that turn. Metrorail Bicycles are not allowed on the metrorail until after 7PM. You may have this as an option to get home.
