Now in its 35th year, it is one of the longest running training race series in the nation and the largest attended competitive event in the Mid-Atlantic region. Series Release Form

USA Cycling has made available a special release form for series events. You only need a single release for the entire season. This should make the line at registration move faster starting with week 2. The form can be downloaded at:

For riders who take advantage of online sales at BikeReg, this year we are asking that you let us print the form for you to sign at registration.

For day-of buyers, we ask that you consider downloading the form, filling it in on your own computer and printing before coming to the Park. You will be required to show a completed release form the first time you come out before you will be sold a voucher. Be sure to enter your Last Name, First Name in the space provided in the upper right corner; this helps us with filing.

JUNIORS MUST HAVE THEIR RELEASE CO-SIGNED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN. The parent or guardian does not have to be present at the race, but if they're not then you have to fill out a release at home and have them sign it.

The race flyer may be viewed online at:

Rdrs Races

In response to demand last year, this year we have added a fourth date for our RDRS series for boys and girls racing age 10-12. The RDRS races will take place on 5/14, 6/11, 7/16, and 8/13. This race will start 1 minute behind the C race, at 6:01PM, and will be 2 laps in length. We will award medals to the top 3 boys and top 3 girls right after the race. As with any USA Cycling sanctioned race, an Annual or 1-Day racing license is required to enter.

Arrow Bicycle will once again provide mechanical support at the race. If you have mechanical trouble come see Chris or Ryan in the Arrow Bicycle Service Course, right next to the registration tent -- they will get you going again. Arrow Bicycle also sponsors the series purse for the A & B races. Route 1 Velo is proud to race in our Arrow Bicycle team kit, and we thank them for their unflagging support over the years.

We welcome back sponsor College Park Car Wash. As in years past we will offer car wash primes for all races. We also welcome new sponsor Filter Coffeehouse & Espresso Bar. Filter is co-sponsoring the points leader jerseys along with College Park Car Wash, and we will offer coffee shop gift cards as primes in the A and B races.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors the series points leader jerseys from Champion-System are especially snazzy-looking this year! Starting with week 2, the points leaders of the A & B series will be given a special jersey to wear in the race when they register, and we will collect it from them at the end of the evening to take home & launder for the following week. At the end of the season the overall points winners will be awarded the jerseys to keep.

Lastly, we welcome back Special Events Medical Services as providers of on-site EMT support, as well as long-time sponsors College Park Bagel Place and DrinkMore Water, who have supported this race for many, many years. Thank you!
